You're not broken.

You're not broken. You're not broken. You're not broken.

Your nervous system just doesn't feel safe.

December Special 50% off The Starter Kit

You've tried "all the things" and still feel broken.

The real reason you still hurt even after doing all the right things...

If you've been stretching, foam rolling, meditating, or researching Google fixes, only to end up in the same pain, stiffness, or stress loop.

You're NOT "broken."

You're NOT out of shape.

You're NOT getting old.

But it IS because your nervous system hasn't felt safe enough to let go of the tension, pain, or restriction it's been holding onto.

Pain is your brain sending a signal that's saying

"I need different input to help me feel less confused, gain more clarity, and help me predict my surroundings so I can feel safe and confident in my abilities and know I won't get eaten by a Saber Tooth Tiger."

We are hardwired for survival, but we also can't stay in survival mode, or fight or flight, for long periods of time without consequences.

What is Body Recovery Support?

Creating Safety

We were never designed to live in a world full of stimulation. Our modern world has made it significantly harder for support for our nervous systems. It's not impossible but it's not built into life. Just like you have to make time to brush your teeth, move your body or eat well. You have to make time to support your nervous system and everyone's nervous system responds to different stimuli. Based on our assess-test-reassess process, you find the tools that make YOUR nervous system feel safe. This could be through your visual system, vestibular system, proprioception system and other brain-based tools.

Changing the Perception of Pain

Pain isn't your enemy or something to fear. Pain is your nervous system communicating with you that it needs something different. You don't need to "fix" it. You need to find what's missing.

Body Mapping & Clearing Pathways

Your brain is like a GPS and has a map of your body's nervous system programmed into its memory. When things get blurry, confusing or disconnected, the brain signals danger since it can no longer accurately predict its path. We can clear the pathways through movement, which makes clear, accurate and predictable signals so your movement can feel smooth and full of ease.

Somatic Releases

Using small, easy, smooth motions can put the body at ease, creating a temporary safe place in order to soften symptoms and start the process of shifting towards awareness and trust.

Building Awareness

Patterns are another way the nervous system communicates with you. When you start paying attention to your body, your energy, your emotions, patterns will start to come forward if you learn to listen, pay attention, and notice how your body is responding to different stimuli in your life. The more aware you become, the more clues you can uncover.  Did you know you can change a pattern? Change the input to change the output.

Repetition for Trust

When you repeat the input that your brain has identified as something it likes, you must repeat these stimuli in order to develop trust. Trust turns into safety. However, this is the hardest part. This is the key component most people fail at. You are not meant to be perfect, but if you do not continue to give your brain the input it needs to make change, the changes you begin to see will not stick. Repetition is how we create massive change that holds when dealing with pain, aches, and restrictions. This part can take days to months.

Mysterious Illness took her down...

"This past year has been a real challenge health wise. I thought at times it would be life changing and that I would never get back to the person I was. Having known Feather for many years, I reached out to her to help me get back on the road to good health. We started off slowly and with her knowledge and care, I'm just about where I was

"This past year has been a real challenge health wise. I thought at times it would be life changing and that I would never get back to the person I was. Having known Feather for many years, I reached out to her to help me get back on the road to good health. We started off slowly and with her knowledge and care, I'm just about where I was before. It sounds strange to say she saved my life, but in a way she has. I could have carried on a near invalid instead of strong and looking forward to my future."

About me: Feather Davis

Hi, I'm Feather Davis, a Neuro-Informed Movement Practitioner...

...and the owner of Pilates Blended, LLC. I help people hurt less, move better, and finally feel at home in their bodies again — because I know what it’s like to lose that connection.

My story starts with a stroke in my 30s that changed everything. My body didn’t feel like my body anymore. Movements that used to feel natural suddenly felt foreign or difficult. I spent years trying to regain ease and confidence. Stretching, strengthening, doing all the “right things” and yet nothing fully clicked.

Later came fertility struggles and an emergency C-section at age 41, and once again I found myself feeling tight, guarded, overwhelmed, and unsure how to get back to myself.
It wasn’t just physical discomfort. It was the emotional weight of feeling disconnected from my own body.

That’s what led me to nervous-system work.

Once I discovered applied neurology and realized that pain, tension, and mobility aren’t just “tight muscles,” but protective outputs from a stressed, overloaded nervous system, everything changed. For the first time, my body started responding. My tension softened. My mobility returned. I felt clearer, more grounded, and more me.

And that’s why I do this work.

Today, Body Recovery Support sessions blend applied neurology, gentle mobility, somatic tools, and nervous-system supports to help your body feel safe enough to finally let go of what it’s been holding. I don’t force anything. We work with your brain, not against it, using simple, targeted drills that your nervous system approves in real time.

My goal is simple:
to help you move out of survival mode and back into a body that feels capable, supported, and yours again.

If your body feels “off,” stuck, tense, or louder than you want it to be, I understand. And I’d be honored to help you find your way back to ease.

Everyone needs to fill out an application, which is below, since I limit spots to make sure I have time for each person I am working with and we are a good fit.

Body Recovery Support sessions blend neuro-informed movement, nervous system support, mobility work, and simple brain-based drills to help your body feel safe enough to release tension, reduce pain, and move better.
They are gentle, personalized, and guided by what your nervous system responds well to.

WhatsApp Coaching is personalized, real-time support delivered through voice notes, texts, and short videos, so you get help right when you need it instead of waiting for your next appointment. After you complete your intake and send a short intro video, I create a weekly nervous system based plan tailored to your goals. You will have access to a library of exercises and tools, along with the 3-step process available to you for continued reference. Throughout the week, you check in with questions, quick updates, or short videos of your drills, and I respond up to twice a day (Mon–Fri) with feedback, adjustments, or next steps.
It’s flexible, simple, and fits into your everyday life, giving you steady guidance, accountability, and nervous system tools that help you feel better, faster, and with more confidence. You’re supported daily, but in a way that’s manageable and empowering for both of us.

No. These sessions do not diagnose, treat, or replace medical care.
They focus on supporting your nervous system, improving movement quality, and helping your body shift out of protective mode so you can feel and function better.

A calm, supportive space where you’ll be listened to.
We’ll:

  1. Talk about your health history and goals
  2. Assess how your body is moving today
  3. Use gentle drills or mobility work
  4. Reassess what changed

Nothing is forced, nothing is painful, and everything is based on what your nervous system says “yes” to.

Everyone's nervous system is unique, so I can’t make guarantees.
What I can promise is:
we only use tools your brain responds positively to, in real time.
Most clients experience less pain, more ease, and a clearer sense of what their body needs.

No. It’s not a workout and not physical therapy.
It’s gentle, targeted nervous-system support that helps your body unlock the mobility, strength, and movement patterns you already have but can’t access when you’re stressed, tight, or guarded.

No. These sessions are perfect if you feel stiff, out of shape, or disconnected from your body.
We meet you exactly where you are. Every drill is adaptable, simple, and safe.

For the single session either in-person or on Zoom...

Wear comfortable clothes you can move easily in.
Bring water if you’d like.
Nothing else is required.

Some people feel better in one session, others' nervous systems need more options and time, along with ongoing support as maintenance or during stressful seasons.
It depends on your goals and how your nervous system responds.

Often, yes — because we’re addressing the brain-body connection, not just the muscles or joints.
Many clients come to me after trying stretching, massage, PT, or chiropractic and finally feel relief once we work directly with the nervous system.

Drills are gentle and always tested before we continue.
If your nervous system doesn’t like something, we simply move on.
The process is designed to be safe, supportive, and responsive to your body.

Yes, virtual sessions work extremely well because brain-body drills don’t require equipment or hands-on work.
You’ll learn tools you can use at home anytime.

No. These sessions are wellness-based and self-pay.

If you feel tight, stuck, “off,” overwhelmed, or limited by discomfort…
If you’re tired of temporary relief and want tools that actually make your body feel safe again…
If you want a practitioner who listens, tests, adjusts, and collaborates with your nervous system…
Then these sessions were built for you.

Most clients walk out feeling lighter, calmer, more mobile, and more connected to their bodies.
You’ll also leave with specific brain-body tools your nervous system responded well to, so you can continue feeling better between sessions.
